Conflicts in The Green Mile
There were many conflicts in the Green Mile. The most important, in my mind, is Percy being rude to the prisoners. This is important because first of all, when the other guards step in when he is rude to them, they cant do anything about it because his father will get them in trouble. Also, if they try to hurt him because of what he says, they will get in a lot of trouble. Another conflict in this story was how Paul Edgecombe's mother is dying so he breaks John Coffey out of jail so he can heal Paul's mother. These are the most important conflicts in the book.
